Reading Tanith Lee's Metallic Love and it's fascinating to see a sequel that is antagonistic to the first, Silver Metal Lover here, a long gap between the books too, I wonder if Lee became more tech-skeptical.

Tanith Lee's Red as Blood anthology is like listening to a lost Kate Bush album. Fractal, shimmering, sweeping from high to low moods, burningly romantic.
I also would rec looking into the other TV movies Levison & Link wrote, in particular Murder by Natural Causes (1979), Rehearsal for Murder (1982), and Prototype (1983).
Like one of my favorite scenes is when Falk visits the wife of the victim, who is being set up by the murderer, and when she realizes she can't fully account for her whereabouts she sighs that she doesn't have an alibi, and Falk assures her she does, just not a good one.

Fucking Clint Eastwood made a rape revenge movie that was more sympathetic to women and understood why its revenge killer was doing what she was doing.
