It was the same in Australia where I grew up. We were glued to our “television sets” (I still don’t know why they were “sets”) watching fascinated the moon walk in black and white. We were so hopeful- if this could happen, nothing was beyond humanity. So different to our own day.

Childcare and the new parliament: the federal government is under pressure to make childcare safe, affordable and accessible to Australian families. Collocation of early childhood education with public schools makes sense at all levels: esp, for oversight, convenience, safety and funding.
