In the spirit of Liv Nilsson Stutz keynote lecture at the EAA I do believe that we need to keep discussions and dialogue open. Some members are calling for a special meeting but 305 signatures are needed

Yes definitely very early… My eldest son started at 4 because we moved to Scotland that year and thought he’d just go to primary school as planned in England where we were before. My little boy started at 5, which I think is the normal age here

Things haven’t been great but last week I went to #Norway for a few days for a research trip with old and new friends and it was so good! I hadn’t realised how much I needed something positive, stimulating and friendly. Beautiful landscapes and rock art (knott your are forgiven). I’ll be back!!

Attacks on women’s rights in Portugal are continuous since recent elections. This week they have reduced the allowance for working women to breastfeed and have removed the right that women had to 3 days of grief for miscarriages. Recently they have also removed sex education from school curriculum

Visited a blackhouse on Lewis today and they were burning peat on a small hearth inside. Hours later I can still smell the burnt peat on my clothes and I think I can still feel that heavy smoke on my lungs. What a powerful experience that was… very eye opening

We loved it first time we went. There were midges, not as bad as this year, the weather was really good. Some rain but so many sunny days. I think it deceived us 🙄 this time it was difficult
It’s been hard this time. Non-stop rain since Monday night we’ve all been beaten alive by midges. We’re camping, difficult to dodge them. And my youngest boy developed and allergic reaction to the midge bites… 🙄
