AFAICT you've provided a strawman of a false quote that was never actually reported, whereas the actual, correct quote has been reported over and over and over again, along with the context you're asking for.
This'd be more convincing if you provided any evidence that your profession has reported that Kirk "didn't want to fly with black pilots." It's well known what he did say, and that he doubled down on it when asked to clarify later. Googling those phrases turns up tons of accurately reported quotes.
