When I first read this headline I thought it was referencing his spray tan hue. (More coffee please)
Bracing for impact; Love my pack, peeps, dog - and cooking, reading, learning . . . lots of things. A quote I love: "So shines a good deed in a weary world."

I'm glad to hear Raskin speaking about Thiel, Musk and Yarvin and their desire for a monarchical, autocratic techno-state. All these actions of DOGE are in support of that (many DOGE employees are at the recommendation of Musk and Thiel). I for one DEFINITELY don't want this.

This is wonderful. There are MANY sizable protests happening around the country and it feels like it's getting very minimal media coverage. Thank you for sharing this.

Well crap. We're never going to get out of the one party dictatorship here without fixing all the fixing. Or is it the oligarchy of Wilks and Dunn? Either way, I'm sick of it.

It's everywhere - and has been for a long time. I think it's a slow process of us all continuing to call it out when we see it. disinformation-nation.org/combat-propa...

Is the damage DOGE has done truly irreparable? How do we protect ourselves from the big data steal? How do we protect America from its Executive Branch (and civilian destruction team) using sensitive information to compromise us further?

There's 3 seconds left on the clock. You're down by one point. Who do you give the basketball to? Lebron James? Steph Curry? Nope. You put it in the hands of 8th Grader Cooper Thorson. He just hit the shot of a lifetime.

The Guardian is as close as I can come to a major. I'm also checking out ProPublica and The Economist more and more.

2/2 To that end, I appreciate historians; the importance of building strength and the concepts of planting seeds, staying the course and being the change you want to see in the world. So much to do!

When a storm / trouble is coming, we're told to Brace for Impact. Prepare, Mitigate then Recover. I think this will be uppermost in my mind for the foreseeable future. As part of my preparation, I have to fortify my ability to remain hopeful for a recovery period that seems a long way off. 1/2
