Generational chemistry between Cooper Hoffman and David Jonsson in this, and the whole cast really. This was so tense and heartbreaking, I was immediately invested in all the characters. Genuinely one of my favourite King adaptations, really special. #TheLongWalk

God the miniatures work in this is incredible. So much texture to the production design
I'm keen to see how I feel about it after this rewatch! I really love all of the mid-century production design and the snappy dialogue, but it's never been a Coen film that I've desperately wanted to revisit. I've only seen Intolerable Cruelty the one time as well! Excited to go back to that one.

I hadn't revisited Barton Fink since first seeing it ~15 years ago, and this time around truly bowled me over. It's melancholy, surreal, and terribly relatable. The artistic nightmare in all its perspiring, horrifying glory.

yesss so glad to hear it! The opening makes such an amazing first impression with the Gommage, and from there's it's back to back explosions of amazing art direction. You can really tell they just had so many great ideas and were encouraged to realise them!!

Fascinating, a portrait of grief that only Cronenberg could conceive of. Mourning as a paranoid, painfully self-reflective state of undead filtered through a digital simulation of the afterlife. Cassell's protagonist is a newborn electronic zombie, complex and thorny and tragic. #filmsky

rewatched Aquaman 2 It's *so* breakneck with the plot and mega unwieldy as a result, but James Wan's Saturday Morning Cartoon approach shines through. I'm an easy mark for this kind of superhero film though, wall-to-wall creatures and production design is my catnip. #filmsky
