19 drones launched over several hours, from Russia and Belarus, into Poland, were not a mistake. Many of them did not carry explosives, so they had not gone astray in Ukraine....they were a probe of Poland, NATO and Trump.
The new cold war differs from the old one in that the front line for Americans is fighting against the GOP.
No one is safe from gun violence in America. We do not have to keep living like this. Instead of inciting more violence, our political leaders should use this moment to unite us around common sense gun reforms that a majority of Americans support.
Every American needs to watch this segment and keep themselves updated regarding this unprecedented authoritarian power grab.

Fwiw, I made this charcoal drawing back in 2019 as a way to get out my thoughts on AI. More or less still covers it.
It's basically a form of bailout that protects investors and maybe even scammers who scammed them by shifting costs or obligations to tax payers. And after all that, it likely collapses anyway. I hope I'm wrong, of course. But it's not looking good from where I sit.
My fear: people will realize that no amount of money they can light on fire will bring back the money already burned, & as the industry teeters, the US gov will prop up it up with massive contracts (tax $) or even take investment stakes. It's already happening to a degree, but can get much worse.
I mean, we NEED it to colapse, but would be great if there was a way it could happen slowly instead of all at once. Barring that, would be great if we could upgrade our country's leadership before it happens. To be clear, I'm not anti ai tech - just anti the dominant ai business models.
That is the crux of the problem. There is way *too much* money riding on this. Feeding the ai snake more of its own tail, or perhaps making its tail bigger by adding more public and private funds, will not save the economy for long. Idk the multiplier on $ swallowed by AI, but it can't be very high.
