This is why I and others are insisting on the explicit naming. Pillar Three is not a mood. It’s the Traitor-General problem in a live war. Say it, and the rest of the map resolves. Discussion By partitioning the state space, we discipline our thinking. The hiatus could be trivial, or it could be grave. The structure tells us that concealment of damage is most probable, incapacity is not impossible, and unforeseen events must be admitted as a real share of possibility. The lesson is simple: we must demand proof of life not in the form of still photos or AI-laced social posts, but in unscripted appearances where Trump speaks as Trump. The Right Conclusion Jake’s disgust is morally right, but analytically incomplete. The oil-majors talk was not the heart of Alaska. It was a decoy, one engineered to obscure the inversion: part of pressuring Ukraine into surrender while blaming it for Western economic losses, on top of being the obstacle to peace.
