Holy shit, that's a deep cut. I used to have a bunch of these. The boom box I had was red. I also had a lot of pop artists and the FM radio clip too!
Don't let this screen fool you. There are WAY more than 4 levels in this game. Not even 10 is the maximum, since I just unlocked the SPECIAL boards! Which are 25x25 grids. FUCK ME. π

Of all the characters in this game, Jago is easily my main. Much like Ryu, he sports a fireball, dragon punch and forward momentum kick. My go to combo involves: βοΈβ¬οΈβοΈ+HK MK β‘οΈβοΈβ¬οΈβοΈβ¬ οΈ+HP MK Which is then followed by these moves based on health. If high, β‘οΈβ¬οΈβοΈ+HP. 13-hit If low, βοΈβ¬οΈβοΈ+LK for a 27-hit Ultra.
Nothing quite hits like the sound of collecting crystals. πππ

I love this game, but GOD getting 100% sucks. Word of advice? Don't ever do it. Not even on the GBA version for those extra 6 exclusive levels. They suck!

While I did own the original game's remake on the PSP as well as 2, I didn't play a game in full until the Pixel Remasters released on Switch. I started with 1, went to 4, then 6, followed by 2, 3 and 5 afterwards. One of these days, I'll finally catch up and beat all the others except the MMOs.
