I think Glasner said as much as well - earlier in the season he talked about at Palace they can’t sign players that do ‘all’ of the things they ideally want for a given position, but have to go for players that do some/most of that profile and then improve the weaker areas of their game
Can also see Sarr has improved throughout the season operating in the more central natural ‘10’ area of the pitch - no doubt because of the coaching too

4 minimum really tbh, our backup CB options are now Clyne (our backup rwb AND lwb) and Lerma (one of two available CMs). Our squad is so thin and needs so much work to even compete with other squads in the league - Edouard doesn’t even make the bench for Leicester most weeks but would always for us
Typical palace would be to get a CB and CM replacement but ignore the LWB situation which was THE priority going into this window, arguably in the summer as well #cpfc

U20 exemptions only apply for those who have been at the club for a couple of years - so even lots of their younger players (Estevao, Paez) will have to be registered still.
They need 4 in their 25 man squad and only (I think) have James at the moment. One of the reasons why Palmer and a few others haven’t been registered for Europe this season. Fine for the conference league, but players will want to be registered for the Champions League next season

Eze still really frustrates me, such technical ability yet takes too many touches and makes the wrong decision too often. He misses easy passes to Mitchell and just shoots into defenders instead far too often. Need a creative player in Jan to allow him to receive the ball much closer to goal
