I'm in Scotland where our NHS is free at the point of need and the level of taxation required to fund this universal service is, frankly, minimal and worth every penny. I genuinely don't understand why Americans haven't risen up on this issue alone #Revolution

This is an important observation. An authoritarian regime may be pushed from power, but the scars and stains it leaves behind last decades. Spain and Chile still live under the shadow of Franco and Pinochet and there are countless other examples.

I'll be honest, I haven't attended any ever, not even since being elected. My mum lost her dad to a war injury before I was born: she and Gran never recovered from that. I abhor war and I get so distressed at the establishment hijacking of the enormous tragedy of loss and grief, I simply can't.
