If you're never seen this - and odds are, you haven't - make a point of checking out one of the few movies Graham Greene got to play the lead in. It's a fantastic dark gem, and he's amazing in it. You'll thank me (And the good folks who brought it to blu ray).

There’s a solid file of it floating around that looks a million times better. And yes, I’m one billion percent the Blu Ray edition is NOT how things looked back then. It’s computer enhanced, and, I suspect, bad AI was used. I’m not exaggerating- it’s an abomination.
It's TERRIBLE. They did some sort of shitty uprezzing that's just atrocious. I bought it the instant I heard, and returned it 5 minutes after it arrived. I'm not being precious here - it's nearly unwatchable. The version that's floating around the internet is WAY better.
