I mention this in the video and description, but it bears repeating: this series exists because @stevelin.bsky.social allowed me to photograph a significant majority of CIB TG16 games from his collection. And, once I’m done here, those pics will be uploaded as a public resource at the VGHF

A lot of bad feelings and anxiety in the air today, so here is something positive: critically acclaimed Genesis shooter Thunder Force II, the most impressive-looking launch title, is chronologically the first game from Japan I’ve covered to have been designed by a trans creator (that I’m aware of)
Yeah, I immediately turned it off for future uploads. Unfortunately, it looks like YT auto-activated it for me on existing uploads, and turning it off involves going in to every single individual video and turning off dubbing for more than a dozen languages individually. Absolutely vile design
