More distractions to keep people’s attention away from the failures of his administration. This is straight out of the authoritarian playbook. Doubleplusungood.

He wants to designate May 8th “Victory Day for World War II,” apparently failing to realize it’s already been called V-E Day as Victory in Europe Day and that the war didn’t end until August 1945 when Japan surrendered.
jrcady.bsky.social (@jrcady.bsky.social) reply parent
It was originally called Armistice Day to commemorate the end of WWI until the mid-1950s after WWII & the Korean War when it was decided to change it to Veterans Day to honor all veterans.

How preposterous. He couldn’t be bothered to show up at a US cemetery in France on the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI b/c it was raining & that would’ve messed with his precious hair weave.

Is it worth it to all the Ukrainians stuck in Russia? They’ll be abused, relocated far away, jailed & even killed. It’s already happening. For at least the 3rd time in the last 100 years, Russia is attacking Ukraine: the Holodomor (artificial famine that killed ~ 7 million Ukrainians), WWII & now.

That opinion piece will hopefully end John Ullyot’s prospects of ever getting hired or being trusted again. He’s like a scorpion stinging itself.

Interesting, too, tbat they’re willing to retract a mistakenly sent letter, but they’re not willing to retract a human being they “mistakenly” deported. Harvard should refuse to recognize the retraction of the letter until Trump comes to visit for a photo opp with margaritas.
jrcady.bsky.social (@jrcady.bsky.social) reply parent
If the letter to Harvard was sent by mistake, then why did Trump freeze billions in federal funding in retaliation? Because it wasn’t a mistake. Trump is just throwing Keveney under the bus for his own blunder in underestimating Harvard’s resolve. The clown car act rages on.

What an absolute, utter crock for Tom Holman to lie through his teeth on your show claiming he and ICE always train migrants humanely when video footage shows quite the opposite. He’s a barbaric twat reveling in his long wished for authoritarian wet dream.

That’s some serious “crack” investigative journalism, RawStory, missing the obvious failure to swear Vance in while the Supreme Ass was under anesthesia this time.

Wait a second - they found a polyp in his colon this time & they want him to have a follow up in 2027 at which time JD Vance would temporarily be in charge. That means Trump must’ve had a colonoscopy this time … but without anyone temporarily in charge?
