I just finished reading Am I Beautiful by Jon Athan. It's based on the Japanese urban legend of the Slit-Mouth Woman. It's a very interesting book. He gives her an origin story that would certainly make a person want to do what she does.

I just finished reading Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keys. This book was absolutely perfect. I wouldn't have changed a thing, down to the last punctation mark. I'm glad I read it. But I have no idea why my class was assigned to read it in Middle School. It's not meant for kids #booksky #readingsky
