One of the things that strikes me about Wolverine and Elektra/DD is that regardless of the quality of the drawings, he seems to have focused on image making and composition, which I can appreciate. Batman just looks like he had a fun time drawing, and Punisher looks like he had a miserable time of.

I'm so happy with the responses to this. I was hesitant to draw it. A group this big is a departure from the series’s core aspects: solitude. It was a struggle to arrange. Maybe it works because even as a group they are all little separate pieces.

Womb Rider by Emil Friis Ernst is visually stunning. It’s like he drew it all with highlighters, and the fluorescence of the orange and pink is apparent under black light. High energy storytelling with a high energy printing!
New comics pickups: Absolute Martian Manhunter 6, Fortress 1, and Womb Rider. The latter two I got based entirely on shelf appeal. Womb Rider is as exciting a pickup from @austinbooks.bsky.social as when I found Gary Gianni’s Monster Men there years ago.
