Tax any plastic product that could be made with natural materials by 2 or 3 times their current value. Use the proceeds to train craftspeople to build out of natural materials. Picnic tables, garden sheds, furniture, storage containers etc, can all be made without plastic. Head off human extinction
We survived until 1907 without plastic. Glass, metal, wood and leather will work just fine. The problem is they take skilled labour to produce and that lowers the profit margin. Medicine is the only field where plastics are justified

Yes, plus the other 100 or so minor cannabinoids that may or not be in the the various strains. It’s all very complicated. I heard about a researcher modifying yeast to produce the individual cannabinoids for study. Not sure if that went anywhere. I would help scientists refine methods.

CBD is a proven medicine for epilepsy. THC may have some medical effects and studies have not been able to achieve scientifically credible results. More work is needed. Regardless, as a recreational drug, which is how most of us use it, it is by far the most benign choice.
