I think some British were and still are jealous of the EU in UK and British in Europe. That's my experience for what it's worth. The British Raj ended flipping ages ago !

Some of my close friends and one or two family didn't vote in the referendum. When I asked why they just said " I never thought the UK would vote leave" They all had decent jobs and lifestyle. They've been silent since. Fu*k them

Yes. It's so very disturbing. Back at the referendum 2.5/ 3.0 million EU citizen in UK (?) .. with marriages to UK born and children, in-laws and other related relatives in UK and EU I was told approx 30 million individuals effected by the whole vote. Including me ..
