Everything is hand made but the noodles. The noodles are okay. The pork consistency is really nice, and juicy. I used a different katsuobushi that's cut thicker and meant for stock, so the eggs are really smokey. Thick broth, great aroma oil. Black garlic oil needs work.

Budgets are bloated. CEOs are overpaid. Shareholders demand higher and higher profits, all while DLC has become more insidious and predatory. You're all putting the cart before the horse: They need to cut down the waste on *their* side before they can even begin to suggest the consumer pay more.
Nobody -- especially not me -- is arguing against raising wages. People should be paid more, regardless of the cost of games. That's already something we agree on. We're just saying, these companies *cannot* keep raising prices like this and expect people to keep buying their products.
Or they pay their CEOs less, bring their overbloated budgets down, and charge cheaper for digital options? Because the problem is the same either way: You raise the cost of your games? People can't afford them. Then what?

I'm angry they're going up in price. That's a choice on the behalf of companies constantly making huge profits. Of companies that balloon their budgets, while overpaying CEOs. Of companies that are indifferent to their customer's struggles to afford their products.

I think the price point of a game is absolutely valid in determining whether or not the experience is *worth* paying for.
Except it is being sold in America, where wages have stagnated. This means that players are becoming increasingly priced out/bled dry by price increases, but Nintendo seems indifferent to these circumstances. That's why people are pissed about the change in cost for games.

I've heard mixed things, but mixed in that some people I know really like it and others really don't. Interesting that you seem to like it. I'll maybe give it a watch.

The worst part is the stuff that's genuinely interesting and engaging. A lot of it is genuinely compelling character work. But the constant timeskips, the multiple plotlines, the convoluted drama, the bloated cast... it's too much.
The second season jars you with a sudden timeskip, and then they start introducing *way too many characters.* Things get so incredibly convoluted and hard to follow, with so many characters and plot lines and crazy shit, that it all kind of becomes noise. And the animation takes a huge dive.
Yeah, first season is super good. I was so goddamned excited for more. ... and then more happened. 💀
