I feel like I'm over the worst the burnout due to some recent discoveries, words of comfort and real friends. But I still need time. The gift of grace is something eludes me still, but many friends applauded my self respect. I still feel like it's worst aspect, given how it kills friendships, but...
Keep in mind, I'm saying this stuff as an observer in stuff I had no personal stake in. It's frightening how many vtubers take their worst habits from high school and bring it over here for the rest of us to suffer. All we can do is learn, & if we repeat mistakes, stay humble & say "I'll do better."

This, tragically, is very common in vtubing, where main character syndrome is rampant and necessitates grandstanding and posturing to build brand. And because people are not very adept at recognizing human cruelty until it's too late, 99.9% of the time, people fall for guts >> truth.
As a repeat survivor of narcissistic abuse, I've gotten proficient at detecting glass halos. No one likes having their goodness questioned, but for the worst among our kind fly into genuine rage when their image of immaculate virtue is challenged or when their wrongdoings are brought to light.

My last social assistant failed me so hard that when I tried to express how my present living sitch was so toxic, the only way I can heal is to genuinely find a new lease to escape it - she just dissociated on me and showed 0 inclination to help. My present waiting list is in years now.
I managed to change my direction and find a small handful of people that actually accept me, and in a couple cases, genuinely love me. Narcissistic abuses shattered my soul5-6 years ago. I've rebuilt my spirit... But I can no longer trust anyone with any level of power over me to not abuse it.
When I was at my lowest point, it was 'because' I reached out to those I thought I could trust.. I broke. When I called for help, I was either entirely ignored, or I was rebuked in the most emotionally violent, gaslighty ways imaginable. I survived.. but lost what little faith in humanity I had left

2) social decay is a bitch esp. when you have energy-draining disabilities. You are very quickly forgotten if you aren't spectacular or sinking 60+ hours participating in the scene. Lately I've lost my extroverted edge, and as a result, I've seen drastic declines in all my personal hangouts.
1a) This inability to fit in with others hits hard. I've been genuinely mistreated - but when speaking out more often than not, people I thought I can call friend either side with the harm-bringer, or dishonor me with complicity. In both cases, 0 care for my well being or accuntability = burnout.
