Goaltenders? Lankinen 30, Demko 29. Silovs 23. Silovs is maybe 1 or 2 yrs from being a good NHL goaltender. Why would the Canucks entertain the idea of trading a tremendous prospect and keep two goaltenders that both are starters. Silovs deserves to be a back up for the Canucks to 1 or the other.
Probably wrong but I believe the Canucks won’t trade Silovs and will instead trade either Demko or Lankinen.

I was flying on Mexican airlines Viva Aeorbus from Mex City to P Vallarta. I sat with three Mexican couples with work visas as drywaller’s in S Edmonton. Fotos of them carrying upside down Canadian flags and flags with the #F..k Trudeau. Meals & hotels paid for & 8h day for a wk. They loved it

I know many city’s like Kamloops there’s a $75 fine for riding bikes on sidewalks. It’s a side’walk’ not sideride. Ped. Xing’s are not for bikes unless the biker walks the bike across. The shoulder is for walkers only, bikes have that right on the side of the roads only.
As a former police officer, I would suggest you read the motor vehicle and highway traffic act. Bikes have been around before cars. They have every right to be on the right side of the road. 🚔

Desharnais 2 or 3 icings as can’t pass so then to get a rest he cross checks someone. If any body knows how good the Oilers PP it’s him.
Canucks play is similar to the play of this years Canadian Jr team . So focussed on defending and shutting down. Selected players to defend, rather getting creative skilled players. Easier to teach skilled players to defend than teaching plugs to score. Other than Hughes, No connection to offence

As a former Albertan, with numerous family and friends still in Alberta we are all disgusted with Smith. It’s not surprising given her track record. We are all Canadians first no matter where we live in this country.

Musings: Nucks issues are JT related? Has this exacerbated the neg play of EP40 & others? We see EP40 play normal & the D play well on occasion. We know what EP40 can do but not sure the bottom 4D are even ave at best. G’s have excelled despite the black cloud. PA & JR must do something!

Excellent article except there is a better way to send a message be it fighting. 2 different Canucks challenge and fight him. Early in the game, his 1st shift then a different player on his next shift. 2 fights in a game is an automatic game suspension. Especially since he likes to agree to fight
Hi David. Watched the game in PV. Sadly with 2 Jets fans. To your question: all 3! this was an awful season right from the start. But I give him credit for some big wins. This team has to get rid of 4 of the 6 Dmen. Myers has really slowed down the other three are horrible.

Vs Leafs: thoughts. Hughes, Petey & Lankinen were awesome. Concerns re: Miller, seems uninterested, bothered? Defended well, still like to see Brannström (25 y) could be a great find. 3 D 30+ Juulsen struggled. Great goaltending duo. Lekkerimaki will score 40+g before he is 25.
Brännström with 3G = goals scored by all the D combined other than Hughes & Hronek. Myers has 2 the rest have 1 (Soucy). Soucy is -11 & Juulsen is -10. Brännström is -4. Boeser is -8. It’s painful watching him skate

Interesting but Petterssen was decent tonight. I don’t think Garland is a good fit. I would rather have EP40 carrying the puck. Lekkerimaki & DeBrusk as line mates. Miller Boeser and Garland. Is it me but Boeser is so slow? Once he gets going he is good. No loose puck retrievals.
Lekkerimaki commented that in order to play he has to learn to how to take passes on the boards. Great defending but there is no connection between the giraffes and the forwards. Hughes is fine. F’s can’t score unless they get the puck with a little speed. 9 g in last 5 games.

The Caucks 6x5 play in the last minute of games is very concerning. Opposition puts out 6 highly skilled players vs Canucks who use large slow Dmen to protect middle. Eventually it breaks down as Van unable to keep up, collect loose pucks. Use 1 of 43, 17 or 26 may be more effective
Not in PPG plus often gets the most ice time. Garland is having an average pts season. On track for 21g. His best is 22. I love the way he plays but he is only middle 6 F. He brings a lot of energy
Media is afraid to as Garland is Tocchet’s guy. Bit of a river skater, lots of puck possession but doesn’t share it unless he has to not when he should. Should be on PP2 as tends to negatively affect the other skilled players.

Continued: they were put up in hotels and paid a salary to march around Ottawa with signs, supporting the convoy and trashing Trudeau. They said most of the people protesting were paid immigrants. I shared the pics with the investigation of the convoy. You can’t believe what you see sometimes.
A year ago, I flew out of Mexico City. There are four couples all Mexican seated around me. They were returning to Edmonton. They shared pics, bragging about how great Canada as they shared a story about being in Ottawa for the convoy. Their trip was paid for along with 35 bus loads of immigrants:

I disagree: could be bottom 6 F’s on other teams: Ratu, Lekkerimaki, Aman, Karlson (Diguiseppe, Sasson, Bains) bottom pair Dmen (not a fan of several large slow current Dmen) like McWard, Petterssen & Kudryavtsev. Not to mention Willander.
Miller is gone. He seems disinterested at times. Experts equivalent fir Petey is Eichel / Marner etc. Canucks have a lot of NHL ready prospects who can help teams. I am thinking a 3 team trade involving Pittsburgh getting Miller. Dman coming this way and a good young center
