RIP Graham Greene. Every time he popped up on screen when I was a kid, my mom would excitedly point him out for being an actual Native on the screen. Able to be deadly serious and infinitely hilarious (even in smaller roles like Last of Us), he ate up the screen. Nʌki’wah brother.

The BBC Marples are of course cosy crime and so depend on not being too sad about the murder. But in this one, Anna Stravinska's murder does get a moment of someone realising how sad it is that no-one cares she's dead. (Similar moment in Nemesis with Nora Brent and some orange squash.)

The Home Office and hotel owners Somani have won the second part of the appeal, which was against the granting of the interim injunction That means the injunction has been quashed and asylum seekers do not have to be moved out by 12 September. The full case will be heard in October
