Yep,i think im still young & agile...nope not at all. I just delivered Midnights food,i couldnt put any weight on my toes. I limped there & back. I hope its better by 2moro but i suspect my body will ache. I stayed home all day,it would have been safer to go out! 😉
2/2 My day is got worse...i chipped a tooth!!! 😭 My pal just told me to stay away from the window incase i fall out of it 🤣
1/2 Crazy day 2day. I had sum1 calling 2day 2 collect items i listed on freegle. On top of a step ladder getting the items & somehow fell backwards,my back hit the sharp metal door handle & i broke a rung on the ladder 🪜. Back is fine but ive bruised my toes (no idea how) 🫤

So autumnal today..sun,rain,wind. I want the summer back.
None of my three liked getting their teeth brushed. Ruby hated it,but she liked it when i would scale them,she would just lay there quite relaxed. Dogs love being mucky,i think its just us humans who like them clean,soft & smelling sweet. 😏
Used the last of the kibble tonight in the foxes food. I stretch the food out by mixing it with wholemeal bread,barley,carrots,wet dog food. Then i know i can feed a few more foxes,even if they only eat one of two before going off hunting in the night. 🦊
Ted had just had a groom & felt soooo soft. Pleanty of cuddles before he fell asleep in a sun puddle 🐶

I love it. I make a point of saying hello to every dog i pass. Im dog sitting a pals 2 dogs (and a cat) next month. I cant wait. I told her she may return to an empty house as i may kidnap her 3 furkids. My home is very empty without a dog. Hopefully i will adopt again soon. 🤞

I met her as a pup about 5 years ago and she tried to eat my fluffy gloves. She was so cute (as all pups are) and always demanded cuddles from then on. Ive not seen her since Ruby passed as i no longer walk by her home. So it was lovely that she recognised me. 😊
Just popped to shops and was met by Amber. Shes a blue staffy i havent seen in over a year,but she recognised me and her rear end almost fell off with her tail wagging so much. I had to go home & wash my face as she smothered it in kisses. I love it when a dog makes a fuss of me.

My friend has passed away aged 36. She developed blood clots after the covid vax & was in & out of hosp because of it. Sadly a clot travelled to her heart & she died. She leaves behind a 15yro son & 18yro daughter. Im in total shock.

Today's walk (Part 1) Set out early to avoid the heat of the day. Photos below are of the section from Clatterbridge to Thornton Hough (Wirral footpaths 4 & 28). Really heavy but brief rain shower just as I arrived TH village, even though BBC Weather said 0% chance of rain ☔️🤣
Today's walk (Part 2) Pressed on from Thornton Hough to Raby, along the lane, and then onwards to Willaston through paths I can't remember walking before, or if I have, must have been many years ago. Need to get my mental map of footpaths further down The Oblong sorted! Finished at Hooton Station
