6 years ago, I made my first massive contribution to Halifax. This is the poem at the Meandering Bear pub, Halifax. I share this as on this day it happened, an unsuccessful smear campaign was launched at me, and the latter lost. Tomorrow is the big BBC date. Still going, still creating.

its mad how sometimes it happens. When I first started going to one in 2014 a young lass called Hannah would come and perform acoustic stuff. she later joined the specials on their last album and still frequently sings/releases stuff on a indie tip.
I met Liam while he was with Meryl Streek in Huddersfield last year. we had a chat about Ireland's music scene and the difference of Guinness (all unachieved medals to my life thus far). He was a friendly, nice fellow. i wonder if the pic he took of me and Dave with matching hats ever surfaced.

smart move. I did see that happen on the Kid Loco album re-release though (sampled Full Metal Jacket) and the re-recorded dialogues totally killed the song completely

excellent day yesterday. I did a a poem before the rain came out, saw a few old/new faces, and a few muses. At the bar the chatter was friendly & a jazz band kicked ass. to cap the evening off i spent the night at a jam session with a nice polish girl i've met, whose lilt of the tongue was nice.
