You could change it to get some exercise. A few simple stretches throughout the day can be very beneficial. I'd also suggest meditation and/or simply some quiet time to yourself. Not doing, just sitting quietly.

Go for a walk. It feels good to get the body moving, and it's good for your mental health too. Doesn't have to be epic either. Just walking (part of the way) to work will be good for you.

I think I read the first two chapters and saw how it could have been so much better (the first chapter was almosty unnecessary) so I gave up. Knoowing that there is an appeal beyond the detective story helps make sense of its popularity.

Realised the splitting base may explain my recent flurry of typos. As the chair got lower and my position diminished my relationship with the keyboard changed. No wonder I kept hitting the wrong keys, going for A and hitting Caps Lock all the time.
I'm still sitting on my chair because all its done is slid down the now enlarged hole. I am however several inches lower than normal.
It is insanity that you need to explain to people that educated people moving to study somewhere and then staying in that place with their skills and training is good for a place. This has been true for all of human history. When you expel or shun your educated migrants your country declines.
