The teenage Seattle screamo scene is so special. These kids continue to put on free DIY shows at venues like Cowen Park, Gasworks and Cal Anderson. Full on show with 4-6 bands on the bill, showing up with their own generators for power and back up gas cans.

I remember my Sears Driving teacher telling us he remembered the first time he drove drunk and how it felt like a video game. He was also a bartender and told us a lot of random bar stories. But he wasn't the one who took us out in the car, now that I think about it.

Here are three interesting things I saw during my walk: -a bee wildly punching a flower with both fists -a guy spraying a bush with his garden hose saying "drink up, you rascal" -a rocking chair on the side of the road with a "do not rock" sign duct-taped to it
