This Week's Movie: Army of Darkness It seems my tastes are confusing since I didn't like Evil Dead 2 as much as the first because it was sillier, but this one was very cartoony, yet I think it's now my favorite one because it was just fun. Maybe I just want commitment to one end of the spectrum.

Post a movie you like with a terrible Rotten Tomatoes score. Now this may just be nostalgia talking considering I loved this movie as a kid and had a bunch of the toys, but this score feels way to low in my opinion. It may not be a masterpiece by any means, but it's not a bad movie.
As someone who played through it for the first time recently, I can confirm that holding down the shoot button until you win is the most effective way to deal with most of the bosses.

This Week's Movie: Sinners Pretty good, but part of me liked it way more before the vampires showed up. Like I became less invested once it turned into horror, which is weird for me. I don't know. It almost felt like two different scripts stapled together, though overall still a really solid movie.
You know what, I'm just gonna say a New Punch-Out or Pokken Tournament 2, just because those are (other than Smash) the only two things that would get my to bite the bullet and buy a Switch 2.
Just finished season 2 of Twisted Metal and man is it great. Probably better than season 1 considering that we get the tournament in this one. I hope it gets a third season. Also Sony, can we please get a physical release of this show in Region 1? Why do other territories get it, but we don't?

This Week's Movie: Evil Dead 2 It was fine. When I was told that I didn't need to watch the first one I didn't think they meant "It's more or less the first movie again, but more tongue in cheek." As someone who likes the silly & goofy, it's weird to say I think I prefer the more serious first one.
As far as I know Gooseworx and Dana Terrance don't live in Australia and there's no problem with them having shows made by Glitch.
Glitch would be my best guess, assuming that they're not too busy with all the projects they currently have.
While these are all good. I will say we were robbed of this Trapper skin.

I would be lying if I said that the idea of Hasbro vs. Capcom hasn't crossed my mind as a hypothetical game a few times over the years. So much so that in a book series of mine it's canon that's what they have instead of Marvel vs. Capcom simply because Marvel and DC don't exist in that universe.
I am sad to say that my cat Rocky passed away. He lived a good 16 year long life being the last of the childhood pets. He may have been scared of almost everything and as dumb as a brick sometimes, but he was a good cat. I'm going to miss him.

Also giving Myers a dash feels wrong. I mean I'm going to have to play him to see how it feels in action, but on paper that doesn't feel fitting the character. Myers in a slow, stalking wall of meat. Giving him a dash feels out of character like if you gave Vecna a gun.
As someone who plays both, the anti-slugging seems like the only good change here. Sure, being tunneled is annoying, but what? The killer gets punished if they happen to find the survivor they previously hooked because they mess up or the other survivors do a good job at hiding? How is that fair?

This Week's Movie: K-Pop Demon Hunters If I had a nickle for every good animated movie that Sony dropped the ball with by just dumping it on Netflix, I'd have 2 nickles. Fun action, great music, really likable characters. I heard that 2 more might be coming and if they are, I look forward to them.

This Week's Movie: The Evil Dead It's fine. Had some pretty wince inducing gore, even if it looked cheap at times. It somehow felt slow and rushed at the same time. Going in I was told by friends that could just skip this one, but I chose not to. I'll see how true that is once I get to Evil Dead 2.

Just finished the first draft of a more experimental project of mine. One that once it's edited and I'm happy with it I plan on posting chapters weekly to Royal Road instead of a book on Amazon. Reason why is that I think that'll work better with this story and I'm just throwing stuff at the wall.

This Week's Movie: Cult of Chucky Not bad, but I do feel like this one was a little boring, though there was one really cool kill and the whole thing of Chucky being able to be in multiple dolls as once is interesting. Plus having Chucky work off of himself is funny. I may check out the TV show.
