The strategy they adopted was to deflect by confusion, inventing a phony war, complete with fake video of terrorists, and in the end, silence the witnesses. This, along with the HBO film “The Second Civil War” are outright shocking in the way they laid out events that are, or might, become real.

The Trump/Epstein imbroglio was predicted. Not by a psychic, but by Hollywood. Does anyone remember a 1997 film, “Wag The Dog”? It’s the scenario playing out now in real time—a president is accused of a sex crime with a minor, and he brings in a publicist and producer to manage the fallout.

The Republicans are making the same mistake they made with Nixon, hanging on until he becomes so toxic he drags them down with him. In the first election cycle after Watergate, they lost close to 50 House seats, a couple of Senate seats and governor’s offices and the White House. So much winning!!

Get serious. No self respecting farm animal would have sex with Trump!

Who's guessing? If his lips are moving, he's lying.

Which is why it's incorrect to call these people conservatives. Conservatives would never dream of using the government the way these loonies want to. They are radical, right wing extremists.

No, they don't admit to mistakes or errors. That would make them look "weak". And the guy who wears enough pancake makeup to keep IHOP in business for a year, and whose hair is held in place with a quart of varnish, wouldn't want to look anything other than macho.

Donny Dampdiapers thinks we hold all the cards; in fact, we're the most vulnerable. China owns more than a trillion in American debt; Japan has nearly a trillion. All they have to do is call it in and we're flushed down the tubes. This clown is in all new, uncharted territory of incompetence.

This is so predictable. He's following the Steve Bannon template of chaos. They think chaos serves them. They're discovering what the rest of us know--that people, especially businesses, don't like chaos. Try planting a tree during an earth quake; when the very ground beneath your feet is moving.

It'll take awhile. Once it filters down to the individual MAGA, when they can't afford gas, the mortgage, food; when they're unemployed and homeless, they'll turn on him. Carville is right; you have to let this happen.

And what a great opportunity to install a back door. The names, addresses, financial info on every SS recipient will wind up in an FSB database, which they can use to bring down the whole American financial system. The bigger the flag waver, the more you should distrust them.

He'll use the patriot act to classify demonstrators as domestic terrorists, send them to Guantanamo, which will expand to take up half the island of Cuba, send the army to the streets, no doubt with orders to shoot to kill, then congratulate himself on how well he restored order.

Like what? He'll move to Bangor?

Good God; not Colin Powell! This guy was so highly regarded that I remember both political parties wanted him to run for president. People were willing to cross party lines just to vote for him.

They have to be facts first, before they can be alternative.

You know, this is really insulting. To jars of mayonnaise.

Because, quite obviously, the survival of another democracy is not in the best interests of the United States.

The tell is the golden statue of Fearless Leader. I remember once watching videos of American soldiers knocking down a similar statue of one Saddam Hussein.

Yeah, 1975. I went to school in Rockford, Illinois, where nude male swim classes mandatory. My nephew graduated in 1975 and it was still going on then. Didn't seem to end until the 80s.

We had female janitors at my high school, and I'm pretty sure they had fun watching us through the underwater view ports.
