And it isn’t even the majority of people worried about immigration. The majority of those concerned about immigration have been misled about the causes of problems in their lives. The problems are caused by the wealthy few who use the media to convince people that immigrants are the problem.

Pre-ECHR, rights were almost completely at the whims of the current parliament - which doesn't always represent public majority. The Bill of Rights of 1689 could be very easily abolished by parliamentary majority. The ECHR created a set of rights that have an external guarantor. That's the point.

He should’ve declared his intention to serve as a Reform councillor to his employer before putting himself forward as a candidate. His political views would be a direct conflict of interest to his work and a decision would have to have been made, either by him or his employer, regarding his future.

As a UK citizen, I don’t understand why US citizens automatically think about guns as a normal part of every day life. Guns are for the armed forces and for the Police in exceptional circumstances, not for citizens to carry with them in their every day life. 1

His protectionist policies will isolate the US and create ideal conditions for home based corporations to exploit the lack of competition, thus leading to increased prices for its citizens. Supply chains are likely to suffer as countries refuse to export to the US which may lead to job losses. 2

The politicians, many already in the pockets of donors, will continue to reduce welfare support for the most needy as there’ll always be someone willing to undercut others to get a job. Those unable or unwilling to work will be ā€˜surplus to requirements’ and have little economic value.

Any criticism of Israeli government policy or actions is classed as antisemitic even when it clearly isn’t. Criticism of a government committing a genocide, murdering aid workers and reporters or deliberately starving a population isn’t antisemitism, it’s highlighting the facts.
