To be 100% clear: Parents do NOT have "legitimate concerns" about trans girls on sports teams. They have knee-jerk assumptions, made up of sexist stereotypes, that self-serving politicians and media-types have fanned into a groundless moral panic. Trans girls playing sports hurts no one.

This is fundamentally why this capitulation or compromise game doesn't work. The anti trans side doesn't want some "reasonable" compromise on sports or other issues. They see trans people as less than human who should be eradicated from society. You can't compromise with that.
