Oh I agree. The sooner Canada moves away from relying on the States the better.
I see it as Carney trying to protect the Canadian accomony while working on deals around the globe. He is buying time.
Hopefully Canada will phase out its dependency on the US soon. Europe would be the better option.

I agree, & think Canada is now on the path to diversify. I think in 5 yrs we will see way different trading partners. Man baby may blink, but the damage has already been done. Canadians are buying local/not visiting the states. Carney is trying to buy time, not sure if it will make a difference.
