Remember when they started playing No Diablo they left out the the full chorus. So when they played it the few few times it was like a Marvel trailer. Then when they released the additional lyrics and it changed the whole song. Pretty intelligent marketing. #Umphreys

Perhaps the name is not as cool. What’s a Lobster Tail and a chicken breast called ? Do they call it Surf & Coop. Why would a lobster and chicken hang out together? Why would a cow and lobster hangout together? So many unanswered questions.
Can lobster only be paired with steak? Is it in the fine print of many cookbooks? Is there a pledge you sign when entering culinary school. I will never pair these foods together. If you do the next morning do you wake up as a chicken with lobster claws? Would it topple the food pyramid?

Another food story from Japan is when we made it to Fukui to visit my friends cousin. We had just gotten off the train and were hungry. So we just ate at the train station. I wanted to switch it up and got Sobi noodles. They served them in two. I crushed both.
It was actually Mike from Australia, not Dave. I apologize to Dave from Australia.
So the host allowed us and the told us that we can’t spend more than two hours there. We were like sure. We were out in an hour. Later that week we met us with my friend who is from Japan. We told him what restaurant we went to. He looked disappointed and told us that it was in fact not the best.
So back a few years ago in Japan after our tour we went to one of the best sushi restaurants there. Idk the name, but we met a guy named, Dave from Australia, and he assured us it was. So when we arrived at the place it was empty but there we tables reserved. So we asked if we could grab one…
I’m glad I didn’t go with gothic cake. I’d probably go into a sugar coma and wouldn’t leave the house for days. Then when I finally get out of the house people would probably ask me if I was any relation to Lydia Deetz or Ed Scissorhands.

I bet you’d like Star Wars and Kicking Television. Kicking Television is like a greatest hits live album. It captures that time period of the band perfectly.

Ended up going with the Cinnamon Raisin sourdough. It probably didn’t invade the Roman Empire but will be great for breakfast.
It tastes like it would probably would have invaded Spain and been Visigoth approved.

I hope when I’m 100 years old and still driving there will be a younger person honking and throwing their hands up in the air yelling to themself “what is wrong with this person? Don’t they know how to drive? Are they like 100 years old?”
For those of us that got to see some of the drive in concerts during the pandemic it was a really magical experience. The pure emotion surrounding them and just was incredible.
