BTW, I was so paranoid that even this might be an (extremely elaborate) bootleg that I scrutinized every detail. The thing that reassured me the most was that the double-CD case turned out to be the exact same vintage brand as the ones for my Bahamut Lagoon and Gun Hazard soundtracks.
I’m so tickled by this story. We confirmed this game has been hanging in the store at $12 since MAY, and that it came from a random Famicom lot from Japan, meaning we paid no more than $3-4 for it. Happy this is going to a good home! Proof that sometimes you can still get one over on the pros!

Last year I did a full re-read of all the Wicked books. In the second book, Elphaba's son has a daughter with a woman named Candle. This always seemed like a funny choice of name, but only on second read did it land on me that this is because a candle is "wicked"

This is a big announcement today from a preservation perspective -- the WaveNet version of UMK3 has never been playable since the 90s in any form whatsoever. We got it up and running in Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection! It's the only arcade game to feature a playable Noob Saibot.
