Very true!
Introverts find joy in the simplest moments. Curling up with a good book, savoring a cup of tea, enjoying the quiet, daydreaming by the window, and peaceful walks. These little things bring peace and fulfillment. It's the beauty in the ordinary that truly matters.

Models are not forecasting any significant rain for the next 3-4 days over Atlantic Canada. Showers late Friday and on the weekend will be heaviest over Northern NB.

Fine sun cloud mix today. Showers (thunder chances) develop this aftn in W NB (spotty elsewhere). Rain at times heavy clips CB tonight-early Saturday. Then a band of more widespread showers develops over the western Maritimes Sat aftn. These become more scattered as they move to the east Sunday.

Normally I see dead sand dollars on the beach . Today I seen 3 live ones and they were black! Also seen a nice looking shell that I was going to bring home but that was alive. So back into the water it went.... #beach #sanddollars

Smoky at my place early this am... improves as it warms up and winds shift to SW. Otherwise a mostly fine couple of days. A few showers develop late Friday in NW NB & E NS with more widespread showers on Saturday. Showers diminish Sunday then things looks dry til late next week.

A fine sun-cloud mix today and Wednesday with just spotty aftn showers. Sunny & low humidity Thurs-Friday. A few showers cross the region on the weekend... not looking to be widespread or heavy.
Just emptied 57.6mm from my gauge! The automatic stations from the CB mesonet show a swath of tropical rainfalls (40-80mm) from Halifax to Sydney. Unfortunately the Annapolis Valley only had a few mm. BTW, the rainfall chart from the EU model I posted yesterday did well predicting this pattern.
My gauge is right on 40 mm !! I am happy we got some rain 😀

Nova Scotia's iconic Blue Nose is refusing to travel to Trumpland. This is a huge decision given the role they play in the international schooner festivals. But they will not cross the border. The Blue Nose is your dime. If they can hold the line against fascism. So can you. Keep the boycott strong.
Fine today with mid 20's. More humid in a brisk SW wind: cooler Fundy & Atlantic with fog patches. Showers/chance thunder gradually develop Monday. Atlantic coast and NW NB best chance of a decent rain (25mm). Some spots in between may not get anything... and nothing more expected this week.

Mostly sunny weekend. Southwest winds increase gradually today and persist Sunday. Showers may clip N NB today and again late Sunday. Tropical moisture triggers showers on Monday & Monday night with chance heavy downpours (ATL coast NS?). Details TBD.
In spite of Hurricane Erin being about 650km south of Halifax at 7am, weather mostly fine today. Just high clouds mostly over NS. Winds light NE with some high gusts 40-70km/h limited to the Atlantic shoreline where hazardous high surf and rip currents increase today & gradually subside Saturday.

I had such a great day. Slept in until 9am which is rare for me. Around noon I decided to head to the beach. I actually went in swimming today. I haven't been in the ocean for years!!! It felt amazing . After my beach adverture I went to a clients house and had some bbq steak. 😁

Some patchy cloudiness today; light winds and most getting into low 20's. Mostly sunny Thursday and low-mid 20's. Light winds. Rain from Hurricane Eric just reaches Sable Island Friday night. Breezy north winds over NS (not strong) as Erin passes well south. High surf and threat of rip currents.

The multi-model outlook to Labour Day: gradually warms up this week. Fine with low chances rain. Rain most likely early next week in a more humid air mass. Then no obvious rain systems into early September.

Was pleased to wake up with 20.8mm in my gauge! Rain soon pulling out of CB; then clearing elsewhere. Notably cooler air; mostly teens this aftn & single digits tonight (frost NW NB). Gradually warms up this week with no additional rain. Next week looks more unsettled with higher rain chances.

A cold front with showers (chance thunder) moving into NW NB early this am spreads south across NB today then PEI & NS tonight departing CB Monday am. A couple bands 10-25mm.. locations uncertain. Cool Monday; a few showers off Gulf. Then fine and gradually warming during the week.

Very hot weather pattern... lots of 30's (NE NB might hit 100F)! Higher humidity increases chances of Fundy-Atlantic fog... and also increases the chances of late day showers/thunder Wednesday thru to Friday when a front brings in more comfortable air. No widespread rain in at least 10 days.

Sunny & warm today with hazy (smoke) skies in spots. Some late af thunderstorms S NB drift east this evening. Not as hot on Tuesday then gradually warms up into the weekend. Tropical Storm Dexter developed well south of Nova Scotia last night. No threat as the system moves east.
Starting August with 4mm in my gauge. As rain pulls south off the Atlantic coast this am and skies gradually clear over NS, that may be it for at least a week. A fine sunny pattern with mid 20's and manageable humidity through the next week. Warmer and more humid in the outlook the following week.

A front passing south of NS early this am; showers just pulling out of CB at 6am, and showers to SW of HFX which clips downtown 6:30-8am. Then skies clear and not as hot. The front slides back north tonight giving needed rain to much of Mainland NS Friday; clearing in the afternoon. Fine weekend.
