I like the idea, but not realistic at the moment. Sadly, high school kids have jobs and some extra curriculars are overly extra. Single parents with 2 jobs. Multiple kids. It's more about basics, reading to your kid early, reading to you, and doing basic math like groceries and cooking.

I find very few action figures that can look up. Are there any Hasbro lines that do it, let alone transformers? And transformers are one of the few that should have some leeway on head sculpts due to not being human or having hair.

Location, location, location! Probably only a handful of kids could walk school. This is out in the middle of nowhere. If you're building a school where almost every kid lives a mile or more away, you're building it in the wrong place. There should definitely be access for that tract housing.

And it all seems to hinge on the Indianapolis. Brody is the one that brings up the tattoo, he's also the one that doesn't know about it. And he never puts a lifejacket on again. His actions are definitely terrified even if Shaw never has a line or facial expression to go into it.
The 70s really took it to people in power in all sorts of horror movies but nothing usually happened. I think jaws let's the mayor off too easily after his mealy line about his kids being in the water too. He's even still mayor in the 2nd movie! Even Burke gets slugged!
It's great watching the story beats. Bruce is only glimpsed one time before the pond. But it's horror, normal life, reactions as if things are normal, horror, science, horror, the hunt. And I never noticed how upbeat the music is unless someone's going to die. Adventure type stuff.
It was really fun to see Jaws in the theater. Few things I really haven't noticed before: Longshoreman Quint seems to have better teeth than rich boy Hooper until he puts away his false tooth. Quint is actually very understanding of Brody until he gets rattled by Bruce. But he hates Hooper.
