Happy #IndieAnimationDay ! I wish I had some new stuff to show for LADS but not quite yet. Rest assured, I’ve been spending the last year doing a TON of prep work. I’m storyboarding Ep 1 in a coffee shop as I type this. Hopefully it shouldn’t be too much longer!!

Jeselle and Emma’s LADS rig test! I learned a method for rigging long hair while making Jeselle, which was used to rig Emma’s lanyard and hair for a few other characters down the line.
Hajun’s LADS rig test! His rig was pretty straightforward to make at this point, especially since I figured out how to do long hair with Jeselle.

I want to make a DK Bananza animation now to post on release day but I also want to wait and play the game so the animation can be game accurate. But I also didn’t get a switch 2 preorder and don’t know if or when I’ll play the game with these prices. This is truly the artist’s struggle woe is me

A lot of the work I did for Liam (modeling, texturing, rigging) was reused for the the other characters and sets.This led to a funny bug I deal with now where a freaky Liam homunculus occasionally spawns into my blender scene if I import something from one of the first blend files I made for LADS
