21 years ago today - Yanukovych eggsassinated in Ivano-Frankivsk. The pro-Russian PM and then presidential candidate, visiting western Ukraine, was struck by an egg thrown by a protester, collapsed egg-stremely dramatically, and was bundled into a car and rushed to hospital.
