As a huge fan of English rugby, I hate it when they do this. It’s massively disrespectful to the teams they’ve still to face; the roses themselves almost certainly would hate it; it’s going to change the atmosphere of the women’s game to more tribal.

Just rewatching Eng v Aus - at the end of the 1st half Kildunne does a brilliant piece of sweeping up in the 22, kicks off the side of her boot and finds grass, then grabs the Aussie flanker - really good fullback play that will never hit the highlights

Interestingly, you get less interest in some games if you organise a tournament rather than a day playing games - Horus Heresy for example, where Heresy Hammer events sell out in minutes unless it’s a tournament where it takes much longer

If you want a weird but true fact to talk about: Dexter Holland, lead singer of The Offspring, was instrumental in this. His doctorial thesis in molecular biology was sequencing mRNA in HIV. The paper was also heavily cited in creating the COVID-19 vaccine.
