I am blessed to be able run, I am physically capable, I run for all those that would, if they could.

I can and have run in short sleeves with temps in the 30’s. Anything colder long sleeves and a vest. I am getting older though.

Always regret running while injured. (I do not listen to my body.) Little injuries turn into big injuries.
Running, whether a “good” run or a “bad” run, is meditative for me. It helps clear my mind of the everyday garbage, or calm me during stressful times.
I love my pups. One has had knee surgery, so the other is my new run partner. They don’t expect you to chat while gasping for air, just a loving pat here and there, and they are content. They really are the best run buddies.

Northeastern Pennsylvania, we have plenty of local races supporting local charities that are generally well attended. The local racing community varies in age from 4-80 and welcome all paces.We have one local man with a TBI who proudly takes last place in every race with a huge smile on his face.

I remember them most of all. The odd/even days. I was always scraped up from teaching myself to ride a bike. On a desperate (but not her) day my mother bandaged me up and got in line and told the attendants she desperately needed gas to go to the ER.

I found one tech running thing I don’t like. The new treadmills. You set up the work out and they don’t ease you into a run. It’s walking (way too slow) followed by run. I am too old for that shit. My first run mile is always my slowest dammit.
0 with a wind chill of -15. It was dangerously cold, and running in a balaclava sucks. Your breath freezes on the inside. Not enjoyable at all.
