I mean to be honest she loves living down there because of the weather and lots of good friends. She just wishes they had a different governor.

I went back and read an article from last summer on what the future would be if he was elected, based Trump‘s promises for deportation. And implications with the courts. The article was pretty spot on about what is happening now.

Just by thinking the way you are, i know you are doing that.
My dad was a pretty amazing man. My mom also open to different ideas. I mean we went to church, but she was very accepting. But did not like to discuss things like -what if there isn’t God, what about reincarnation - all on the table with dad. And I was a questioner!
But, I also think, what we are seeing now is truly out of control. There are “bad” (for lack of better word) ones getting deported, but percent wise? Maybe 10-30? The rest - we are breaking up families, ruining lives, changing who are country is, and harming our work.
My dad and I had these discussions for as long as I can remember. He and I loved philosophical and religious and scientific ponderings. No thought was considered wrong.
Imagine being so hateful, you waste your state money on dismantling a rainbow, dedicated to victims of a shooting, and guarding this destruction all night every night. And go after other rainbow crossing that make most people happy.
I once would’ve confidently said good with some bad ones. I think it’s more complex. Want to be good but weak. Or easily persuaded to see a different reality. Does that make one bad? I don’t know. I know that I am not solid in a lot of my beliefs anymore.
I think Will and I and you are all probably pretty close in our thoughts on immigration. But, bc of various backgrounds/viewpoints bring up different points. Which leads to a lot of philosophical thoughts about what leads us here. But at least we are all talking.

It was quite the run around everyone, including the goalie! She was very happy the Facebook live person got the video of it!
Well, Sol and I are at the soccer tournament, Keith and Grace ran the beach 5K at Home. He did it in 24:06 and she did it in 25:13. He placed top two in his age group of men and she placed top five in her age group of women!
Real pretty run and go by Sol up at the tournament in Richmond. Two wins today and they’re in the championships tomorrow! Back playing with her good friend who she’s been playing with for four years. Senior year had a new showcase club that she really likes.
I’m surprised our school didn’t say that because we are one of the few districts in Virginia that refused to comply with the anti-DEI

Not just transgender. All LGBTQ type of learning in sex education. Learning about pronouns and people being bisexual or gay. I can’t tell you how evil the administration is.

They loved Delilah. She was outside with her pups. Older lady feeding her and all went to a regular shelter. They got her and the pups (did this when their farm had room)

It was cathartic for all of us! Plus interesting discussions. A lot of anger, but I kept saying we need to figure out why. Why did so many see Trump as better? Why did the transgender issues pull so many? What do many working class feel left behind by Ds? How do we respond?

Went to a postcard party tonight. As I chatted while writing Spanberger postcards, a few others said they could see why I was good at canvassing. Felt good until I thought…wait, are they saying I’m not good at post carding? 😂 Was my chatting distracting? 🤣
I think the other was too busy. But, to be fair, I really don’t care. I don’t eat there unless traveling.
