I never thought it'd take this long, but I underestimated just how much I needed to unpack mentally and recover. Still a long ways to go I think, but things are already feeling much better.
Technically, it's been a hell of rollercoaster for the last 6-7 years. Terrible event after terrible event in my life sent me spiraling out, I lost prettymuch everything including my mind. This past year in my own space was exactly what I needed to heal and become independent.
I'm sorry again for the delays, I definitely bit off more than I could chew to survive given my circumstances around this time last year, and I'm changing how I operate my business this upcoming year so I never fall behind again.
My queue is now dramatically smaller, I've a handful of Kofi commissions left for next month, and then I may finally be free. I'll be opening for headshot sketches to cover rent later today, and then I'll resume normal work when September starts.

I cry about it all the time, the brush that got away 😞 The autosave has saved me a ton, I just wish the setting of the app itself would save. Sometimes it entirely resets to default and I have to rearrange everything back to the way I had it.

I only ever use the default CSP brushes to start off with so it had to be one of them. And I know I used a tree branch for the texture- but everything else is a mystery 😭

The last time this happened, I lost my FAVORITE custom brush which I used to make these. I've not been able to duplicate this look/feel since. I have no idea what past me did to make these look so traditional XD
Okay THANKFULLY past me was smart and did happen to save all my new brushes after I made them, crisis averted.
My PC auto-updated when I was asleep, causing CSP to reset itself and it discarded all my custom brushes, some of which I don't even think I had saved to my PC. This isn't the first time it's done this, why doesn't CSP SAVE MY BRUSHES?!
Oh it's actually my dream to own one of their designs, I absolutely love their art. They post so rarely though 😭

I'm a big fan of designs that combine natural/unnatural vibrant colors. Like I really dig the colors on the yote here, and I did try to translate it to a big cat, but it didn't work out. I also had this saber I doodled a month or so back that I still kind of like.

I really like how lanky machairodus is! I have really long limbs, chunky middle, and fat head XD I love having sona's who's species are kind of built like that irl It's hard to find modern big cats with that though- I think. Machairodus would be like a giant lynx on steroids
