I would prioritise a human tutor over an AI assistant in 10 out of 10 cases, and if access to tutors is financially prohibitive then that's another issue that needs to be addressed. AI is not the answer because it teaches kids to substitute it for developing their own skills or abilities.

AI isn't a "new way". It's a substitute that depends on cannibalism. A new way would be a method or technique or technology that creates new art. AI doesn't do that. AI is yelling over a fence "make me a photo of a dinosaur in a hat" and then someone tosses one back to you and you go "I did an Art!"
But the more it's accepted the less possible it is for people to sustain themselves in creative careers, meaning they're unable to devote the time required to become experts and eventually artists cease to exist. How's that a future anyone wants?

People don't generate AI graphics because they're lazy. A company that hires someone to design a logo isn't expending any energy whether AI does it or a person does it. What they care about is the cost. If a person take 10 hours at $30 per hour that's $300 they don't want to spend. It's greed.
