The Administration’s actions are unprecedented, unnecessary, and unlawful. There is no crime emergency in DC. Violent crime reached historic 30-year lows in 2024, and is down 26% so far in 2025. We are considering all options and will do what's necessary to protect DC residents' rights and safety.

This is not a prison. CECOT is a torture/concentration/death camp. No one in there is ever expected to return to society. The US has so far sent 238+10 men to this hellscape. Why? Seemingly for existing while brown + having random tattoos. 75 percent have no criminal record. Being them home!
A co-worker of mine (who is a judge), traveled by train from Montana to North Dakota for work this week. The train made a stop in Havre, MT, where ICE agents—armed and dressed in full military-style tactical gear—boarded the train.

This was my classmate. He was a student in my ethics class, and we used to sit next to each other. Most dedicated person in the class to legitimate justice for all people. He legitimately cared. I am so horribly heartbroken
Since the Trump admin continues to claim Mr. Abrego Garcia is a gang member, I thought I'd take the time to put together a timeline, based on all the documents filed in court, which lays out all the "evidence" the government has ever offered. As you'll find out, there's very little "there" there!
