We are all impatient. After 14 years of Tory grift, who wouldn’t be. Nothing matches our desire for instant change. Starmer was and is the best option available. Farage would be ten times worse than Sunak, Polanski isn’t ready yet, Sultana is being stifled by Corbyn’s dead hand. Glass half full time
I hope not. McSweeney needs to move aside. His election winning instinct is irrelevant four years out. It’s a tactical strength but does not replace a strategy.

Starmer’s day job is running the country in turbulent times and being a major international leader. Farage’s day job is holding press conferences, making unsubstantiated statements and empty promises for which he is never held to account. Starmer hasn’t the bandwidth to counter Farage effectively
What were you expecting from Starmer? In 14 months he has achieved significant progress on the NHS, workers’ and renters’ rights and benefits, international relations including resetting the relationship with the EU and leading a coalition of the willing on Ukraine. He is crap on Gaza though

It was a march of solidarity with people who wave flags to say this is who we are and you aren’t if you think immigration and multiculturalism are ok. It was a march with people you wouldn’t want to sit near on the bus or drink with in the pub or even share a fish and chip supper with.
