Looks like Boy #Cat gets a few weeks at home before he has to spend some weekdays at Radiation Camp. (In other words, surgeon didn't catch all the margins of his tumour) The vet hospital staff all genuinely adore him. And he them. & little monster is feeling good and demanding ALL the cuddles π

Sat with partner just marvelling at the joy Boy #Cat takes in eating, now that he's more healed up. I think we didn't internalise how much he struggled before - and for how long. Looks like he has a bit more medical care in his future, but three weeks after surgery this is a wonderful outcome.
That last meeting actually drained my life force. It's gone. There are five lights, whatever you say, just let me out of here.

This finally explains a deeply odd conversation I once had with a Brit. We were both making strawberry jam when berries were cheap & plentiful. I said I was making freezer jam because I didn't want to heat process the jars. She was utterly emphatic that jam doesn't need any processing!

Really happy with his face healing, yeah! I just went back in to his little dressing room prison and he was actually resting on the 'bad side' which must mean it doesn't hurt. He has a recurring eye ulcer (bad timing) which I'm worried about, and we don't have the full biopsy results yet, so π€π€π€
