#catsky update on Toby the Tabby - I was finally brave enough to call the shelter where I’d brought the stray i was feeding for months who got real sick. They told me Toby passed away, that they’d kept him comfy as possible. He left a feather on my mat 🪶 The guilt of not bringing him in sooner..

#foodsky #breakfast I was gifted a couple duck eggs - so huge! So velvety. No weird taste lol. And what are eggs without a side of hash, cuties, and maybe some avo. Next time, I might add smoked paprika. TIP: eggs should sizzle when they hit the pan, then lower heat and use lid to steam the top!
Wow, 3 different softwares for one collage and all free, I’m impressed! I used to do paper collage and I haven’t in a while because it takes so long just to go through my materials. Are those 4 steps your usual? Stock image then bing then photoshop then unsplash? Would you say it’s copyright-free?

#collectorsky #swapsky Attended a #decorswap recently. We’ve heard of clothing swaps but this was news. Great way to reduce landfill, reuse decor, free! I found an old electric pole glass topper. I have 2, but 3 makes an official collection, right? Makes me imagine a swap / #barter economy, wow 🙌
I do sew, but not from scratch. I do my own tailoring. If something doesn’t fit, I can alter it if I like the fabric or color. Shorten sleeves, add new ones, add fringes and lace to skirts / dresses, add collars, hand-sew small repairs. I want to add more pockets. Most women’s clothes need them!
#catsky update So, I’ve been feeding a stray. It got so sick recently that I had to take it to a shelter. I cried but it was the right thing to do. “Toby the tabby” became “Straycey” and all I got back was an empty cat carrier. They may euthanize! They’ll call me if not. Still surrendering 😿✨🙌

#catsky Update on “Toby the tabby” - the no-collar stray I’ve been feeding. Food and love isn’t enough. Still skinny. Still has more of a squeak than a meow. Time to bring Tobes to the local animal shelter for microchip scan, checkup, neuter. Adopt or surrender?? A decision I’m struggling with..💔

#catsky i must share my #glitchinthematrix moment: I’ve been feeding my neighbor’s cat for the last year and she likes hanging out in my yard. One minute I snapped a fond photo of her - the next minute, I suddenly had 2 cats! The new one is young and hungry. Is this how we become cat ladies?

My niece is obsessed with “playing” Wind in the Willows. I’ve tried to make the figures out of clay, which was a fail, and there seem to be no figurines for a reasonable price, so it’s nice to see there’s a felting kit! I look forward to seeing your progress 💘

#art #nature Finally unwrapped my flower press, went for a long walk, did a fresh press, then found out I should wait 3 weeks before opening lol. Meanwhile, I colored the press! Blended with simple Crayola markers, sealed with clear spray. Research begins. Candles? Grimoire? Much can be done..
