I feel like in the 1980’s/90’s this would be a major plot point in a Tom Clancy novel, and the operation would be carried out as an off-book, illegal black op, with various characters trying to cover it up lest they face congressional hearings. Now the President just announces it.

How the Trump-Kennedy Alliance Is Pushing the Boundaries of Public Health The mutually beneficial relationship between President Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is based on a striking alignment of some of their views. The two exchanges crystallized the mutually beneficial nature of the relationship between the two men, an alliance driven by political calculation and a striking alignment of some of their views. Their ties have empowered Mr. Kennedy to push the boundaries of public health and science with the support of the president, who in turn benefits from Mr. Kennedy’s coalition of followers opposed to vaccines and health mandates.

Reminder: It does not matter if Lisa Cook filled out a form wrong or if the raid finds some document in a file folder in John Bolton's house. These actions are wrong no matter what because they selectively target opponents of the government. The rule of law is under attack.

As the team works on fixing the server (thank you!), let's bring back the tradition of emailing your new articles to colleagues/ friends. This summer, two people emailed me their new papers and I really liked that. I know that was more common back then when there were no journal alerts/ preprints.
