Exactly. No one is being asked to submit War and Peace length pieces. Writers with the slowest writing speed can manage this on even their busiest day. I've written 9,000 words in a day then shut my laptop and watched a couple of films to wind down.

It is insanity that you need to explain to people that educated people moving to study somewhere and then staying in that place with their skills and training is good for a place. This has been true for all of human history. When you expel or shun your educated migrants your country declines.

I think we all keep attributing more depth of character to Starmer than he has, in an effort to understand the way he sounds reasonable while doing the most incomprehensible things. Maybe he's as shallow as a puddle. It's hard to figure him out and that annoys us.

This movie slaps, y'all! It's not entirely historically accurate but it has many incredible scenes. If you're queer, I highly recommend it as an example of cross-class solidarity.
Most of the comments on Instagram, on any subject, are absolutely batshit. I mainly follow animal accounts (it's therapy!) and people say terrible things to folk who just want to post cute pet photos and videos. There's a lot of unhinged commenting on there, I don't think it's your fault at all.
