Why not start with "abolish slavery?" Or with "end Jim Crow?" Or with "gay marriage rights?" Why not start with any other proposal that correctly identified a clear injustice, and clearly identified the correct solution, which were also very unpopular with people who dislike solutions to injustice?

I don't disagree with the first two sentences, but I think in general there's been far too much movement from 'not really noticing the problem' to 'despair'. Let's experiment with 'people and organisations try and enforce the norm' and then see if it is actually hard for it to be re-bottled.

What I don’t understand is why every gas station doesn’t throw up a solar panel, battery bank and a speed charger. You could charge $20-$30 per charge, the payback would probably be 6 months or less. Also risk mitigation for the future. Keep people used to stopping at “gas” stations.
