No caso da Lisa entregamos a informação como ela é EXATAMENTE igual dentro do enredo: Ela é morta pelo povo sobre o qual o Drácula reinava, por rumores de bruxaria. Não foi a igreja que matou, foi o povo. Graças a rumores iniciados por vampiros. E a pessoa entende "ah tá então a culpa é da igreja"
A gente não pode passar o vídeo inteiro dizendo "ISSO aconteceu, ISSO AQUI QUE PODE POSSIVELMENTE ESTAR NA SUA MENTE não aconteceu" Refutar TODOS os achismos é praticamente criar um segundo video inteiro com a mesma duração
O texto é escrito de forma deliberada. O que não dizemos, não aconteceu ou não é claro. Mas tem um monte de gente que assiste, vê algo que NÃO foi dito, e presume que POR TANTO o senso comum se aplica (o caso da morte da Lisa por exemplo)

(I really, really dislike the idea that Liu Kang became a god. I dislike the idea of making heroes of humanity into gods, and I especially dislike when the sequel powers them back down with a bullshit excuse because the lore made them implausible to be playable)
Also it'd make for a great idea to touch on the "Dark Raiden" moments we have in the canon. This alternate Raiden is what happens if our Raiden fully loses his patience against humanity. He could gloat about it: He KNOWS canon Raiden has this evil inside him, too.
I find it funny how MK's lore is so different from the franchise starting with MK2 onwards (especially Raiden), where elements become more solid. So I imagined what if they used these differences to move the franchise forwards. One can dream. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
Embrace the retcons, make AltRaiden's tournament have the dragon logo in reverse (remember that from MK1), have him be all white, bring back any villains and gods as evil. And when this story is done, create a MK1 aligned with the canon. Ahhh... Everything is possible in fanfiction.
The setting is now BACK to being about a tournament, BACK with an important host figure, and better yet: It clears the path for a TRUE "Mortal Kombat 1" because it means that we never actually saw what the first tournament is like in the canon timeline. Our canon timeline starts at MK2, not 1.

The last MK games' narrative about the multiverse/timelines isn't very great and is a missed opportunity. They could have used a certain "Have a nice day", had their cake and eaten it too...

Eu digo isso sem a intenção de ofender as pessoas que trabalham no Meteoro. Mas eu parei de assistir porque o canal foi completamente descaracterizado e virou um conteúdo de react em split-screen que eu considero safado e sem carisma.
Pra quem não sabe, o Álvaro tem um canal próprio chamado "arvro", que carrega um espírito muito parecido com o início do Meteoro. O Meteoro Brasil tá irreconhecível. Virou um spin-off esquisito de Galãs Feios que não tem um pingo da essência que o canal tinha antes do Álvaro sair.

You're absolutely not wrong. Some kind of events involving Quincy Morris, who is a Belmont relative, and possibly Van Helsing (who, with our current knowledge, is ALSO a Belmont relative) go down. But Castlevania being a very different universe, it's really hard to predict how they turned out.

You're right. And not just Dracula, but the whole worldview and context. The entire thing does not fit the game universe at all.
In fact, just one character is confirmed in the same approximate time period (Quincy) Three others (Seward, Lucy Westenra, Wilhelmina) are on the far future, FAR removed from the same context, and all three are sorcerers :P
Are there people who still think Bram Stoker's novel is canon to Castlevania? Do YOU reading this think that?
I suspect the reason he's seldom shown biting someone in the main canon has to do with the greater focus on him as "Dracula the incarnation of evil" rather than "Dracula the vampire", despite him being unquestionably a vampire. But that is too long winded for now, maybe a thread someday.
He does that to attack Hector though, at least one time in canon, on Curse of Darkness. And it refils his HP too! But it's not story-relevant like Annette's is.
Dracula X is a reinterpretation of Rondo for the SNES, with substantial differences including in the story (funnily, this is a topic for my next thread) DXC is "Dracula X Chronicles", a remake of Rondo for PSP. Modernized presentation, but few deviations at the core.
In DXC, Annette says this. In the guide it says "Dracula gave her eternal life". So, one COULD extrapolate Dracula bit her. Grimoire of Souls does add some confusion here though, which could put into question if it was REALLY Drac that bit her. But I'm chosing to ignore it for this moment.
btw, the "spirit projection" thing I mentioned isn't explained in the game. The castle exists BOTH whole and destroyed at the same time in LoS2. I asked Enric Álvarez (the game's director) directly to confirm it. It's not "time travel" or something, the castle is a manifestation of Dracula's ego.
Also, here is him biting Laura and drinking her blood. This is how Dracula becomes a vampire in the Lords of Shadow canon, so he's not yet one here in this scene. Here he needs to become a vampire so he can enter another realm and defeat a powerful demon.
One more Castlevania Dracula biting someone, this time on LoS2. This Carmilla isn't "real", in the sense this is a "projection from Dracula's spirit" thing going on. The castle and everyone in it become real from Dracula's spirit when he projects it into reality. But a bite is a bite.
In the Netflix show, another Castlevania Dracula bites someone again. A MUCH more flattering portrayal of the character, with all due respect to the comic. In here he's hazing merchants that have disrespected him.

Muitas horas depois e uma mão amiga que adicionou o Christopher, eu botei o Drácula pra fazer companhia pro Simon. Eu gostei do WPlace, mas o cooldown é absurdo e não tem jeito de mitigar isso. Tu não consegue desenhar NADA rapidamente e os upgrades não tem impacto.
